Rexos' experience covers many years of experience in the oil industry improving methods of cleaning oil spill, pipeline, tanks and other structures around the world. The systems he employs include chemical, mechanical, and biological (aerobic and anaerobic) procedures, many of which are proprietary.

More recently, Rexos has developed a new type of wax and corrosion inhibitor for injection into production flow lines to keep systems clean and free from obstruction.

Rexos Limited is a company registered in the UK in 1996 by Richard Monbiot who is also the Managing Director.

Richard has over 30 years experience of specialising in industrial and specifically oil field related chemical product development. Following on from his experience in product design and application methods, he then expanded his operation into blending products and designing systems for their use in well stimulation, well bore cleaning and oil spill clean up.

Richard opened his first blending plant in Birmingham (UK) in 1986 and entered the North Sea Off shore sector 1994 with a range of well bore cleaning products which received CEFAS approval under the HONCF scheme and an approval by MAFF for cleaning oil spill from the foreshore.

Rexos' product range includes mud cake breakers, scale removers, asphaltene inhibitors, solvents for cleaning oil field structures (including tanks and pipelines) and surfactants for removal of residual films of oil.
